To celebrate the re-opening of cultural spaces today I am writing to propose our first Cinema Group event for over a year.
The movie is called ‘Falling’ starring Viggo Mortenson and there is a VO version on Monday 24 May at 6.30pm at Eden Cinema in Menton.
A synopsis of the movie is as follows:
When 80-year-old independent farmer Willis travels to Los Angeles for an indefinite stay with son John and his family, two very different worlds collide. Mentally declining, Willis' abrasiveness is both caustic and funny, bringing old wounds from the past and years of mutual mistrust to the surface.
Unfortunately due to the curfew it may be unlikely that we can find an outdoor place to have a drink afterward but maybe those that want to discuss the movie could meet for a coffee the following morning. We can decide on the day.
Wearing of a mask is required while in the cinema and groups of no more than 6 people can sit together. There has to be 2 seats left unoccupied between groups.
If you would like to attend this movie please let me know and I will meet you outside the cinema 10 minutes prior to the showing. If you are late we can meet up inside.
Feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone who you know might also be interested but that I have not included.
Kind regards
Rick Llewellyn
