Irish author Patrick O’Sullivan Greene, will give a talk themed, “Revolution to Royalty,- The making of an Irish-American princess.”

This new book of Patrick’s, titled “Revolution at the Waldorf, - America and the Irish War of Independence,” tells the real history of money, power and political battles that defined Irish-America for a generation and was released in the US last September.

Patrick’s quality of writing and storytelling have been hailed as compelling reads. His book on, “The battle for Irish Independence”was presented to Irish President, Michael D Higgens.

Tickets for this event are 10€ and can be paid at the door, or online. These events include a drink and a chance to meet the author.

I have long been an admirer of PGIL’s excellent events and have in the past occasionally worked with the director, Paula Farquharson. who does an excellent job.

I’m currently on vacation in Tenerife and will unfortunately miss this highly recommended event, which I hope many members will attend.

I’ve promised Paula to let her know who from our association will be there.
